During a summer trip with my family to a Colorado dude ranch, I was inspired
to try to capture the beauty of the aspen forests we rode through each day. I developed a stylized technique to mask the tree
trunks and be able to paint the surrounding landscape and then come back in and detail the trees.
I enjoy this process and continue to paint them in all
seasons.....also trying the technique for bamboo!
